Yes we have a heating system to suit every type of boat. Our Air Heaters range from 2Kw to 9Kw and our Water Heaters range from 4Kw to 47Kw. As a general rule we would install our heaters as follows:
This is purely a guide as cabin volumes vary from boat to boat. The heater should be correctly specified against the actual volume of the cabins on your boat.
An Air Heating System is generally easier to install and heats a cold boat faster than a Water Heating System. However a Water Heating system not only heats the boat but also produces domestic hot water.

Please be aware that the heater will only run on full load for a short period of time and once the boat has heated up the heater will reduce the heat output, therefore reducing the power consumption down to the levels of the partial load figures.

The Airtop range of heaters is supplied as standard with a rotary controller, which turns the heater on and off and gives fully variable control of the heat output of the heater. It is possible to upgrade to a digital timer which allows the user to programme on / off times for the heater. Webasto Water heaters come as standard with a very simple digital timer which allows the user to program three start times per day. Both systems can be upgraded by fitting Webasto Thermocall, which allows the user to control their Webasto heater via their telephone, ensuring you always receive a warm welcome when you open the cabin door.
It is possible to install fan matrixes on a water heating system; this allows us to produce warm air in the cabins whilst still producing domestic hot water.
