The BlueComfort Premium System
In a BlueComfort Premium system, a yacht air conditioner and a diesel-fired boat heater are integrated into a single system. The use of a water heater guarantees full heat output, even at low seawater temperatures when inverse circuit operation reaches its limits. This integrated system uses the same water lines, fan heat exchangers, air ducts and cabin control modules for both heating and air conditioning operation. For user-friendly operation, the main system is regulated by a controller and each cabin has individual controls to adjust the temperature and blower speed. The BlueComfort Premium system offers two integration options: It is available in the “Basic” and “Deluxe” versions depending on your comfort standards.
Basic
The Basic version simply integrates a water heater into a coolant system using a 3-way valve. The valve guarantees that cold water does not flow through the heater, which could cause condensation to form. Both the heater and the 3-way motorised valve are electronically controlled by the air conditioning system. A special heater with a low temperature setting or additional thermostats are required in order to limit the water temperature to 60°C.

A Water heater
Produces hot water (60°C) when the system switches to heating mode
B 3-way valve
Switches between the cooling and heating circuit
C Fan heat exchanger
Warms or cools outside air
D Water pump
Circulates the water
E Air conditioner
Cools the water when the system switches to cooling mode
F Air conditioner controller
- Controls entire air conditioning system and
the water heater
- Starts the compressor when cooling is required
- Starts the heater when heating is required
Deluxe
The Deluxe version includes all the features of the Basic version plus the integration of a boiler and additional air blowers or radiators within the system. It offers ultimate comfort for heat and service water. The mixing valve limits the water temperature in the air conditioning circuit to 60°C. A summer / winter switch allows the boiler to be used in the summer while the air conditioning system cools the cabins.
